The Lace'Em Up Foundation for Kids is a registered Canadian Charity that started operations in 2014, built on the belief that all youth deserve equal access to participating in a sport they love.
Sports give kids an opportunity to grow and develop in the areas of leadership, character, confidence, and teamwork!
Addressing hockey participation barriers for Canadian youth
Lace'Em Up's mission is to help financially disadvantaged kids play hockey by funding the cost of registration fees. We are dedicated to improving participation and inclusivity in hockey for Canadian youth. Through fundraising initiatives and community partnerships, we strive to make an impact in the lives of children and communities across Canada.
We've provided grants for more than 2,000 youth across Canada
Since 2014, Lace'Em Up has provided financial support for thousands of youth in order to play hockey. Last year alone, thanks to our generous donors and partners, we were able to support 900 kids across 12 Provinces and Territories.
“Thank you so much for providing this opportunity for my sons! I couldn’t afford this and thanks to you, they are able to get on the ice and do what they love!”
“Thank you so much. One of Robin's biggest dreams is to play hockey. Thank you for giving him the opportunity to play and enjoy the sport he loves!”
"Our family has persevered through so much over the past number of years. We are truly grateful to be considered and approved for these funds. We will NEVER forget what you have done for us."
